Steelheart was one of the many bands that invaded the scene Hardrockera of Principles of 90 ... the invasion lasted some years and very little is left of them ...
Much of its success was the responsibility of their Alma Mater and singer Croatian Mike Matijevic, who went down in history for his powerful and amazing voice.
After his debut album Gran, Steelheart's career was marred by a terrible accident on the highest peak of popularity. In short what happened was this:
In one of his live performances (in Denver), Right in the middle of a topic, Mike went to one of the columns to have a more personal approach with the public, when the structure that supports the lights on the band broke up,
be Mike who received the full impact of the beam of light on his back. After impact, surprisingly Mike gets up, looks at the audience and addresses the dressing rooms, where their management, instead of taking the first hospital, up to a helicopter where he was filled with drugs to calm him down and step two is not aware of the event, Mike later vanished a couple of weeks ... later, Mike wakes up with the worst pain of his life, but even worse, without remember
